Police Logs: Police Respond to Bomb Threat, Assist in Prostitution Sting

A list of notable arrests and incidents by Dublin police.

Dublin police responded to an unfounded bomb threat Thursday at T.J. Maxx in the Hacienda Crossings shopping center. On Wednesday, officers contributed to a multiagency prostitution sting at an Ashland hotel.

Wednesday, May 18

  • A 30-year-old man from Union City was arrested on the 7000 block of Amador Valley Boulevard at 2 p.m. on warrant-related charges.

  • A 47-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Dougherty Road and Sierra Lane at 4:40 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.

Saturday, May 21

  • A 22-year-old woman and 23-year-old man, both from Oakland, were arrested on the 4400 block of Tassajara Road at 6:24 p.m. on warrant-related charges.

  • A 40-year-old man from Jolon was arrested on Dublin Boulevard at 5:05 p.m. on a charge of domestic violence.

Wednesday, May 25

  • A 24-year-old man from Hayward was arrested on Hacienda Drive at 12:54 a.m. on warrant-related charges.
  • Dublin police contribute to Ashland prostitution sting:  Countywide authorities conducted a prostitution sting at a hotel in Ashland, an unincorporated area in San Leandro, in which dozens of people were taken into custody. For more, read .
  • A 26-year-old man from Oakland was arrested on Foothill Boulevard at 2 p.m. on warrant-related charges.
  • A 22-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, both from Oakland, were arrested on Foothill Boulevard at 5:30 p.m.  The woman was arrested on a charge of loitering.  The man was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and loitering.
