Police Log: Whole Lot of Altered Driving Going on

Dublin police were involved in a six-hour standoff with a man in a home on the 4000 block of Clarinbridge Circle who reportedly was distraught over financial problems. And Dublin police reported arrests involving battery on April 3,  April 5 and April 9. 

Police reported a domestic violence-related arrest on April 8. Police listed arrest reports from a March 30 sting in which several women were taken into custody for soliciting sex from undercover officers. 

Wednesday, March 9

• A 29-year-old woman from Shasta Lake was arrested on Regional Street at 5:37 p.m. on charges of prostitution.

Wednesday, March 23

• A 40-year-old man from Concord was arrested at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Dublin Court at 3:32 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

Wednesday, March 30

• Prostitution Sting Nets Arrests:  Several arrests were made in a prostitution sting on the 4500 block of Dublin Boulevard from about noon to 4 p.m.  The women who were charged with soliciting sex from undercover officers included a 20-year-old from Antioch, a 20-year-old from Stockton, a 28-year-old from Oakland, and a 23-year-old and 24-year-old, both from Oakland.  A 24-year-old from Novato also was arrested and charged with loitering with the intent to commit prostitution. Thursday, March 31

• A 20-year-old man from Pleasanton was arrested at the intersection of Hacienda Drive and Martinelli Way at 3 p.m. on a charge of driving without a valid license.
• A 40-year-old man from Oakland was arrested on the 7000 block of San Ramon Road at 1:10 p.m. on warrant-related charges and a charge of driving without proper documentation.
• A 24-year-old man from Stockton was arrested at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Hacienda Drive at 3:46 p.m. on a charge of driving without a valid license.

Saturday, April 2

• A 20-year-old man from Pleasanton was arrested at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Tassajara Road at 8:22 p.m. He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

Sunday, April 3

• A 23-year-old man from Danville was arrested on the 7500 block of Amador Valley Boulevard at 2:44 a.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
• A 35-year-old man from Hayward was arrested on Hacienda Drive at 4:42 a.m. on a charge of battery.

Tuesday, April 5

• A 22-year-old woman from Brentwood was arrested on the 4000 block of Tassajara Road at 5:30 p.m. on a charge of battery.

Thursday, April 7

• A 74-year-old woman from San Ramon was arrested on the 4000 block of Dublin Boulevard at 3:35 p.m. on a charge of theft.

Friday, April 8

• A 37-year-old woman from Dublin was arrested on the 2600 block of South Kilbride Lane at 2:29 a.m. on a charge of domestic violence.
• A 48-year-old man from Hayward and 55-year-old man from San Lorenzo were arrested on the 7400 block of Dublin Boulevard at 12:47 p.m. The Hayward man was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and the San Lorenzo man was arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property.

Saturday, April 9

• A 26-year-old man from Newark was arrested on the 5000 block of Hacienda Drive at 1:21 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
• A 44-year-old man from Patterson was arrested at the intersection of Ardmore Place and Bonniewood Lane at 5:58 p.m. on a charge of battery.
• A 48-year-old man from Livermore was arrested at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Village Parkway at 10:34 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

Sunday, April 10

• A 23-year-old man from San Ramon was arrested on I-680 northbound near Alcosta Boulevard at 2:33 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
• A 30-year-old man from Lathrop was arrested on Cotton Wood Circle at 11:40 a.m. on warrant-related charges.

Monday, April 11

• A 49-year-old man from Antioch was arrested on the 7000 block of Dublin Boulevard at 2:29 p.m. on a charge of theft.

Wednesday, April 13

• A man in a home on the 4000 block of Clarinbridge Circle surrendered after a six-hour standoff with police that started about noon. The man reportedly was distraught over financial problems.  For more, read .

• A 20-year-old man from Danville was arrested on I-580 westbound near Dougherty Road at 9:42 p.m. on warrant-related charges.
