Police Log: Traffic Stop Brings Arrests

Notable arrests and incidents Dublin police encountered Oct. 21 to Oct. 29.

The most significant arrest made by local police was in the early morning hours of Saturday in which a San Jose man driving a car was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.  A Dublin woman in the vehicle, suspected of trying to conceal possession of drugs, was also arrested.

There were several warrant-related arrests and citations made throughout the week.  Also, Alameda County firefighters dealt with a grass fire at Camp Parks on Wednesday.

Friday, Oct. 21

  • A 21-year-old man and 18-year-old man, both from Pleasanton, were arrested on the 6000 block of Tassajara Road at 10:41 p.m. on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

  • A grass fire that burned about 50 acres at Camp Parks was contained by county firefighters.  For more read .

  • A 46-year-old man from Sacramento was arrested at the intersection of Alcosta Boulevard and San Ramon Road at 4:02 p.m. on a warrant.
  • A 42-year-old man from Brighton Drive was arrested on Brighton Drive at 5 p.m. on two local warrants.

Friday, Oct. 28

  • A 23-year-old man from Livermore was arrested on the 7000 block of Amador Valley Boulevard at 1:04 a.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.
  • A 62-year-old woman from Dublin was cited on Finnian Way at 9:46 a.m. on a court-ordered warrant.
  • A 22-year-old man from Hayward was cited on the 6900 block of Stagecoach Drive at 12:17 p.m. on a court-ordered warrant.

Saturday, Oct. 29

  • A 31-year-old man from San Jose and 29-year-old woman from Dublin were arrested at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Dublin Boulevard at 2:05 a.m. The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.  The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and concealment of evidence.
