Police Log: Burglaries, Hold-Ups and One Very Manic Monday

Notable incidents encountered Nov. 11 to 17.

Dublin Police Services  were kept busy last week arresting robbery and burglary suspects, along with fielding the routine calls for drug and alcohol violations, thefts and domestic disturbances.

But one day, in particular, Nov. 12 -- Veterans Day Monday -- likely had deputies scrambling, as it appeared chock-full of varying incidents and criminal offenses, including armed robbery, grand theft, a stolen auto, a missing person and a retail and restaurant evacuation. 

Saturday, Nov. 17

  • Burglaries reported: 4 p.m. on the 4300 block of Jordan Ranch Drive; 4:59 p.m. on the 11500 block of Bay Laurel Street.
  • Noise complaint filed 11:57 p.m. along 3700 Whitworth Drive.
  • Vehicle reported stolen 6 p.m. on the 7100 block of Village Parkway.
  • Male motorist arrested for suspected driving under the influence 2:58 a.m. on Vomac Road at Landale Avenue.
  • Two arrests for alleged public intoxication: male, 1:22 a.m. on 4100 Grafton Street; male, 6:48 p.m. on Emerald Avenue at Amador Valley Boulevard.
  • Vehicle accident with property damage logged on Dougherty and Old Ranch roads; time unavailable.
  • Suspicious fire at former orchid farm on Isabel Road in Livermore.

Friday, Nov. 16

  • Two burglaries reported on the 4300 block of Jordan Ranch Drive, 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Vandalism/property damage logged 9 a.m. along 1800 Collier Canyon Road.
  • Motorist with suspended license cited 7:43 a.m. on the 11900 block of Dublin Boulevard.
  • Afternoon big-rig accident on I-580.
  • Second suspect in Pleasanton elder-abuse/fraud case turns herself in to Hayward authorities.

Thursday, Nov. 15

  • Dublin man, 44, arrested 3:08 p.m. on Dublin Boulevard and Clark Avenue for allegedly being under the influence of controlled substances.
  • Residential burglary reported on Elmwood Drive; time not disclosed.
  • Car break-in reported 10:30 p.m. on 4700 Hacienda Drive.
  • Motorist with suspended license cited 7:39 a.m. on 7000 San Ramon Road.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

  • Livermore man, 31, arrested for suspected shoplifting 11:24 a.m. on 4000 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Car break-in reported noon on 2800 Dublin Boulevard.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

  • Noise complaint filed 8:44 p.m. along 7900 Agate Way.
  • Warrant arrest of Tracy man, 22, 5:46 p.m. on 2800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Identity fraud report made 2:15 p.m. on 6900 Village Parkway.
  • Oakland male, 36, arrested 10:30 a.m. for burglary and theft on Dublin Boulevard at Iron Horse Regional Trail.
  • San Ramon Police alert for hit-and-run driver from Nov. 9 accident on Alcosta Boulevard.
  • Missing teen found in Hayward with Livermore man.

Monday, Nov. 12

  • Triple burglary arrest logged 6:50 p.m. on 7800 Dublin Boulevard of San Francisco male, 33, San Leandro female, 43, and a Bay Point male, 32.
  • DUI arrest made 12:08 a.m. on Village Parkway at Elmwood Drive.
  • Missing person/runaway reported 12:17 a.m. on the 7600 block of Frederiksen Lane.
  • San Jose man arrested for suspected Hacienda Crossings 7:30 p.m. armed robbery.
  • Grand theft/ shoplifting reported 11 a.m. on 7100 Amador Plaza Road.
  • Vehicle reported stolen 8:21 p.m. on 2800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Car break-in logged 11 a.m. on 4700 Hacienda Drive.
  • Oakland man, 38, arrested 3:29 p.m. on 7400 Dublin Boulevard for suspected narcotics possession and parole violations.
  • Broken gas line; evacuation of Target and nearby restaurant.
  • Arrests for alleged controlled-substance use/influence: Livermore man, 25, on 3100 Finnian Way 5:33 p.m.; Dublin male, 44, 10:31 p.m. along 11900 Dublin Green Drive. 

Sunday, Nov. 11

  • Robbery reported 11:59 p.m. on 7100 Dougherty Road.
  • Vehicle reported stolen 4 p.m. along 7800 Castilian Road.
  • Suspicious circumstances investigated along Finnian Way at 6:15 p.m.
