Embezzled rental car, some DUIs, and more incidents encountered April 14 to 20.

Saturday, April 20

  • Suspicious circumstances investigated 8:07 a.m. on the 3700 block of Oakhurst Way.
  • Noise complaint filed 10 a.m. along 7700 Gardella Drive.
  • Property-damage accident Alcosta Boulevard at I-680; no time available.
  • Brush fire logged 9:10 a.m. I-580 in Dublin.
  • steals $2,000 of Victoria's Secret bras at Stoneridge Shopping Center. Very similar incident reported two days earlier in Newark: Story here.
  • Security upped after bomb threat at Chabot College.

Friday, April 19

  • Vehicle reported stolen 3:50 a.m. on 7200 Amador Plaza Road.
  • DUIs: 10:40 p.m. Kohnen Way at Brannigan Street; 11:50 p.m. San Ramon Road at Dublin Boulevard.
  • Noise complaint filed 8:25 p.m. along 3100 Maguire Way.
  • Grand theft/shoplifting reported 3:40 p.m. along 4500 Tassajara Road.
  • Burglary/shoplifting logged 4:24 p.m. on 2800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Shoplifting 2:22 p.m. on 7000 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Public intoxication reported 11:58 p.m. Blackstone Road at South Dublin Ranch Drive.
  • Alameda County Sheriff's in Castro Valley. Female also struck, injured; arrested on drug charges.

  • Vehicle towed for overdue registration 7:01 a.m. from Silvergate and Betlen drives.
  • Noise disturbance logged 5:05 a.m. Alcosta Boulevard at Village Parkway.
