Police Log: Freeway Traffic Stops Lead to Warrant Arrests
A list of major incidents and recent arrests by Dublin Police.
This past week, Dublin Police made several arrests that began as traffic stops on I-680 and I-580. During those stops, police found that the driver or passengers had outstanding warrants or were driving under the influence. Also, police made a burglary arrest on Jan. 13.
Saturday, Jan. 8
- A 23-year-old man from Hayward was arrested on I-680 northbound near Alcosta Boulevard at 8:08 p.m. on warrant-related charges.

- A 32-year-old man from Union City was arrested on I-580 westbound near San Ramon Road at 1:29 a.m. He was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and driving without proper documentation.
- A 41-year-old man from Dublin was arrested at the intersection of Brighton Drive and Lucania Street at 10:16 a.m. on warrant-related charges.
- A 30-year-old woman from Walnut Creek was arrested on I-580 eastbound near Hacienda Drive at 1 p.m. on warrant-related charges.
Thursday, Jan. 13
- A 19-year-old man from Apple Valley was arrested on the 8000 block of Peppertree Road at 3:37 p.m. He was charged with burglary and receiving stolen property.
Friday, Jan. 14

- A 37-year-old woman from Dublin was arrested on the 8400 block of Davona Drive at 2:59 p.m. She was charged with child endangerment, being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving under the influence.
- A 37-year-old man from Milpitas was arrested on the 4600 block of Sandyford Court at 6:37 p.m. He was charged with domestic violence.
Sunday, Jan. 16
- A 28-year-old man from Hayward was arrested on I-580 westbound near San Ramon Road at 8:36 p.m. on warrant-related charges.
Monday, Jan. 17
- A 19-year-old man from San Ramon was arrested at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Hibernia Drive at 12:40 a.m. on warrant-related charges.
