Police Log: Pot Dealer Busted; More Noise

Notable incidents encountered Jan. 22 to 28.

It was another noise-filled week for Dublin Police Services, which responded to at least seven domestic-disturbance calls related to excessive noise, up from last week's reported .

Police also arrested a local suspected marijuana dealer, intoxicated individuals and impaired drivers.

Saturday, Jan. 28

  • Excessive noise disturbance reported from the 5000 block of Hacienda Drive at 10:51 p.m.
  • Three arrests along Dublin Boulevard were made for suspected driving under the influence: a Dublin man at the intersection of Dublin Court at 1:25 a.m.; a motorist at Landsdowne corner at 1:55 a.m.; and another near Sybase Drive at 2:40 a.m.

Friday, Jan. 27

  • Excessive noise reported again from 5000 Hacienda Drive, this time at 2 a.m.
  • Public-intoxication arrest made along 4800 Hacienda at 2:20 a.m.
  • Stolen vehicle recovered at 1:58 a.m. along 4100 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Controlled-substance possession arrest of a Dublin male, 24, was made at 2 a.m. on the 6400 block of Dublin Boulevard.
  • Another narcotics-related arrest was made of a San Mateo man, 27, at 11:06 a.m. on Regional and Dublin boulevards.
  • Car break-in was reported at 12:40 p.m. at 100 Civic Plaza.

Thursday, Jan. 26

  • A Fremont female, 47, was cited for an outstanding bench warrant at 6:13 p.m. along 6500 Golden Gate Drive.
  • A Castro Valley man, 24, and woman 21, were arrested at 3:15 p.m. at a Castro Valley residence for suspected possession of stolen property and narcotics-related charges.
  • Noise complaint filed at 8:44 p.m. along 6900 Pine Street.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

  • Two excessive noise reports were made: at 12:19 a.m. along 4600 Perugia Street; and at 2:04 p.m. on Hibernia Drive and Dublin Boulevard. 
  • Marijuana possession arrest was made at 10:24 p.m. along 4500 Mangrove Drive.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

  • A Dublin male, 20, was arrested on the 8400 block of Cavalier Lane at 8:09 p.m. for suspicion of marijuana possession with intent to sell.
  • Vandalism was reported at 8 p.m. on 3000 Finnian Way.
  • Domestic disturbance for noise logged at 8 p.m. on 3400 Dublin Boulevard.
  • A drunk-and-disorderly arrest was made of a Danville man, 30, along 4100 Grafton Street at 9:21 p.m.
  • Theft cited from along 7400 Rolling Hills Circle at 4:16 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 23

  • Car break-in reported at 5 p.m. on 6200 Dublin Boulevard.
  • A Castro Valley woman, 47, was arrested for suspected illegal possession of controlled substances on 7200 Amador Plaza Road at 1:27 p.m.
  • A male motorist was arrested for driving with a revoked license on Arnold Road at Dublin Boulevard at 6:35 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 22

  • A 52-year-old homeless man, arrested at 1:11 a.m. along 4400 Tassajara Road for suspected public intoxication, was rearrested later that day, at 4:26 p.m., along 4800 Hacienda for alleged police obstruction.
  • Other public intoxication arrests included: 1:56 a.m. on 4100 Grafton Street; a Castro Valley male, 21, at 7:48 p.m. on 7900 Dublin Boulevard; and another individual at 7:53 p.m. along 3700 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Battery reported at 7:53 p.m. on 3700 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Noise disturbance answered at 12:45 a.m. along 4100 Grafton.
  • Vehicular burglary reported at 9:38 a.m. along 8800 Davona Drive.
  • Stolen vehicle recovered at 12 noon along 4400 Foxford Way.
