• Use/influence of controlled substances reported 2:18 a.m. along 6600 Dublin Boulevard.
  
• Bay Fair BART briefly shut down over reports of man with gun.
• Pleasanton man, 63, injured, along with girl, during runaway horse and carriage incident in Petaluma. 
• Rape report filed by female 4:25 p.m. from Motel 6 on 5100 Hopyard Road. Incident reportedly occurred Aug. 4 and is under investigation by Pleasanton Police Department. 

• Dublin school volunteer pleads not guilty to embezzlement. 

• Vandalism reported 8:23 a.m. along 4200 Central Parkway.
• Noise disturbance call 1:09 p.m. on 6000 Tassajara Road.
  
• Stockton male, 35, arrested 2 a.m. for suspected DUI and misdemeanor hit-and-run on El Charro Road and I-580. His companion, a Castro Valley male, 27, was arrested for alleged public intoxication.
