Police Log: Slew of Car Break-Ins; Plus, Dublin Teen Arrested for Alleged LSD High at Pleasanton Party

Pot warrants, bicyclist hit, and more from Nov. 17 to 23.

Two 18-year-olds from Pleasanton and Dublin were hospitalized and arrested Friday night for suspicion of being under the influence of LSD after police investigated noise and party complaints in the Arroyo Del Valle area off Black Avenue.

A 17-year-old male was arrested, as well, but no details are available on charges or any medical treatment due to his minor status, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

The 18 year olds, both males, were treated and medically cleared at ValleyCare Medical Center before being booked atSanta Rita Jail, Dublin, on charges of drug intoxication related to the hallucinogen LSD, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

The Dublin teen was also charged with resisting arrest, as he reportedly fought officers attempting to handcuff him, police said.

Police responded to the Corte Brazos neighborhood, between Valley Avenue and Hopyard Road, at 9:56 p.m. after residents called complaining of fighting teens and "loud, intoxicated voices" in the creek bed behind homes, reports state.

The arrests were recorded at 10:10 p.m. on the 5800 block of Corte Brazos.

Similar calls of noise and partying came in earlier -- about 8:30 p.m. -- from the area, but patrolling officers were unable to locate any suspects or party, police said, adding that they can't confirm the incidents were related or involved the same individuals.

And if it seemed LSD went out with the Magical Mystery Tour, it hasn't. To learn more, click here.

Also a rash of vehicular burglaries were recorded in Livermore Nov. 17 to 18 -- the same timeframe as several in Dublin.

Law agencies remind residents to leave nothing of value in their autos -- or at least nothing visible -- particularly shopping bags and packages during the holiday shopping season.
