Police Log: Drunk And Drugged Drivers, Thefts, Break-Ins

Notable incidents encountered Oct. 7 to 13.

Dublin Police Services last week made several arrests of motorists who were suspected to be either under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances -- or in a couple cases, possibly both.

  • Dublin man, 44, arrested 2:40 a.m. Brighton Drive and Cranford Lane for alleged use/influence/possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia.
  • Grand theft from vehicle logged 12:21 p.m. on 5800 Southbridge Way.
  • Vandalism reported 3:24 a.m. along 7400 Amarillo Road.
  • Dublin male, 24, arrested for suspected driving under the influence 2:14 a.m. on Gleason Drive and Tassajara Road.
  • Injury accident reported on Old Ranch Road at Vista Monte Drive; misdemeanor hit-and-run along 9700 Davona Drive.
  • Car break-in logged noon on 7300 Village Parkway.
  • Public intoxication arrest made of Dublin male, 24, 6:09 p.m. on 8100 Village Parkway.
  • Noise complaint filed 10:42 a.m. on 5000 South Forestdale Circle.

Friday, Oct. 12

  • Burglary reported 7:30 p.m. on 6600 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Vehicle reported stolen 8 a.m. on 7300 Greenville Place.
  • Domestic battery reported 4:38 p.m. on 6800 Hickory Lane.
  • Access-card theft cited 11:28 a.m. on 7100 San Ramon Road.
  • Noise complaint filed 8:23 p.m. on 7700 Amador Valley Boulevard.

  • Male motorist arrested for suspected DUI and cruelty to child at 9:42 p.m. on Hacienda Drive at I-580.
  • Thefts included: 9:53 a.m. on 7800 Amador Valley Boulevard; 3:25 p.m. on 7200 Amador Plaza Road; 6 p.m. on 8100 Hollanda Lane; 6:02 p.m. on 3500 Saddlebrook Place.
  • Drug-paraphernalia possession reported 11:04 a.m. on Donohue Drive at Amador Valley Boulevard.
  • Criminal threats logged along 7900 Gunshot Court at 12:03 p.m.
  • Grand theft from vehicle reported 8:15 a.m. on 6100 Shadow Hills Drive.

  • Vehicle towed for overdue registation 12:33 p.m. on 4800 Hacienda Drive.
  • Grand theft of bicycle reported 7 p.m. along 5200 Maguire Way.
  • DUI arrest made of Dublin male, 45, 11:34 p.m. on Brannigan Street at Dublin Boulevard.

Tuesday, Oct. 9

  • Non-injury collision reported 5:35 a.m. on I-580 at Hopyard Road offramp.
  • Livermore man, 56, arrested for suspected DUI and being under the influence of controlled substances on Dublin Boulevard at San Ramon Road at 8:46 a.m.
  • Male motorist arrested 11:51 p.m. on Arnold Road at Dublin Boulevard for alleged DUI, use/influence of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Pleasanton neighborhood near Foothill Road on lockdown for burglary incident.

Monday, Oct. 8

  • San Ramon woman, 33, arrested for suspected possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:45 p.m. on Camp Parks and Dublin boulevards.
  • Reward offered for family's pug stolen in Pleasanton home burglary.

  • San Leandro man arrested for allegedly holding former co-workers at gunpoint for 30 minutes.

Sunday, Oct. 7

  • Hayward male, 23, arrested 6:50 p.m. on 7200 Amador Plaza Road for suspected burglary.
  • Suspicious circumstances investigated 1:33 p.m. along 5000 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Misdemeanor hit-and-run logged on the 9800 block of Broadmoor Drive.
  • Burglary reported 11:55 a.m. on 7000 Village Parkway.
  • Theft  recorded on 4400 Tassajara Road 6:51 p.m.
  • Fatal I-680 crash.
  • National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Day.
