Police Log: Domestic Woes; Plus, K9 Cop Finds Dublin Man's Stash

Massage parlor bust, thefts and more from May 26 to June 1.

A Dublin man, 35, was arrested Thursday when his alleged stash of heroin, pills and counterfeit cash was discovered by a K9 officer with the Fremont Police Department.

The man was detained for suspected theft at Fremont Fry’s Electronics by loss-prevention workers, who recognized him from prior theft incidents, police said.

On probation for drug possession and with two outstanding warrants, the suspect had his car searched by a police officer and his police-dog assistant, K9 Harkos.

Harkos, POST-certified in detection of illegal drugs, uncovered heroin, miscellaneous pills, drug paraphernalia, and counterfeit bills in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested on multiple drug charges and suspicion of burglary.
