Police Log: Can't Inject This! (Hammer Tweets Jail 'Shot'?); Plus Prostitution Collar

Notable incidents encountered Feb. 17 to 23.

An individual was arrested last week on Regional Street for alleged prostitution -- the second such arrest in a week by Dublin Police Services.

A 52-year-old Oakland woman was apprehended on alleged prostitution charges Feb. 14 on the 7400 block of San Ramon Road.

Last week's arrest was recorded Thursday at 3:47 p.m. along 6500 Regional, records state.

And entertainer MC Hammer tweets on (and on, and on ...) regarding his Dublin arrest Thursday for alleged police obstruction, even insinuating on his Twitter comments that jail officials stuck him with something Tuskegee-ish:

  • Police obstruction reported 10:16 p.m. on the 4800 block of Hacienda Drive.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

  • Dublin man, 44, arrested 12:14 p.m. on the 7200 block of Amador Plaza Road for suspected public intoxication, criminal threats and carrying a concealed dirk/dagger.
  • Pleasanton man, 36, arrested 4 p.m. for alleged burglary, possession of stolen property, illegal possession of ammunition and methamphetamines. Suspect arrested along Rachael Place in Pleasanton.
  • Theft logged 10:55 a.m. on the 7300 block of Regional Street.
  • Car break-in reported 9:38 a.m. along 11800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Injury accident midnight on I-580 at North Flynn Road.
  • Motorist with marijuana cited 12:27 p.m. along 4500 Central Parkway.
  • Motorist airlifted to hospital after hitting trees on North Monarch and North Wedgwood roads, San Ramon.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

  • Double arrest 7:55 p.m. on 2800 Dublin Boulevard: Oakland woman, 24, for suspected possession of controlled substances; Oakland woman, 23, for alleged burglary and forgery.
  • Theft logged 1:21 p.m. on the 3600 block of Kohnen Way.
  • Suspicious circumstances investigated along 6900 Darian Court at 4:10 p.m.
  • Accident with property damage recorded on Dougherty and Old Ranch roads; no time available.
  • Public intoxication reported 7:06 p.m. on 2800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Vehicle towed after notice to appear 3:24 p.m. on 4800 Hacienda Drive.

Monday, Feb. 18

  • DUIs: 1:15 a.m. on 5400 Demarcus Boulevard; 1:34 a.m. on Emerald Avenue at Amador Valley Boulevard.
  • Criminal threats reported 5:38 a.m. on the 6500 block of Cotton Wood Circle.
  • Fremont business park evacuated by Alameda County Bomb Squad after duct-taped packages found.

Sunday, Feb. 17

  • Vehicle reported stolen on the 9000 block of Alcosta Boulevard; no time given.
  • Public intoxication reported 3:37 a.m. and 1:13 a.m. on the 6300 and 6200 blocks of Dublin Boulevard.
  • Suspicious circumstances investigated along 11600 Luna Court at 4:39 p.m., and at 5:17 p.m. along 7200 Hansen Drive.
  • Car break-in logged 6:33 p.m. on Central Parkway at Grafton Drive.
  • Noise complaint filed 10:44 p.m. on 5000 Round Hill Drive.
  • Vehicle towed for overdue registration 11:49 a.m. on Amador Valley Boulevard at Village Parkway.
