Police Log: Busts For Thefts, Burglaries, Stolen Car

Notable incidents encountered March 25 to March 31.

Dublin Police Services last week apprehended several suspects on suspicion of theft, burglary, possession of stolen property and a stolen vehicle.

Also reported were four car break-ins -- two on the same evening on Amador Valley Boulevard. 

Saturday, March 31

  • Police obstruction was reported at 1:39 p.m. along 7400 Dublin Boulevard. Read the full story here.
  • Suspicious circumstances reported at 1:10 a.m. along 7600 Turquoise Street.
  • Burglary logged at 8:15 p.m. on 2800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Theft cited at 8 p.m. on the 4400 block of Tassajara Road.

Friday, March 30

  • Vehicle reported stolen at 6:49 a.m. on the 5100 block of Eastham Court.
  • Vehicular burglary reported at 3:45 p.m. along 3700 Dublin Boulevard.
  • An individual was reported under the influence of controlled substances at 12:44 a.m. on Dougherty Road at Fall Creek Road. 
  • Noise complaint filed at 7:07 p.m. along 7000 Allegheny Drive.

Thursday, March 29

  • Vehicle reported stolen at 9:32 a.m. along 6400 Dougherty Boulevard.
  • Two car break-ins reported along 7800 Amador Valley Boulevard, at 7:30 p.m. and 8:36 p.m.
  • Grand theft and shoplifting reported at 3:34 p.m. along 4800 Dublin Boulevard.
  • A 62-year-old man was arrested for suspected possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia at 7:30 p.m. on Kolln Street in Pleasanton.

Wednesday, March 28

  • Vandalism logged on 2800 Dublin Boulevard at 10:04 a.m.
  • Vehicular burglary reported at 9:30 p.m. along 5300 Ironhorse Parkway.
  • Theft reported at 12:03 p.m. along 6400 Ebensburg Lane.
  • DUI arrest made at 1:36 a.m. on San Ramon Road at I-580.
  • A 24-year-old Oakland man was arrested at 1:47 a.m. on Amador Valley Boulevard at Regional Street for suspected theft and parole violations.

Tuesday, March 27

  • A Santa Cruz male, 34, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. along 3700 Dublin Boulevard for suspected burglary.
  • Theft cited on 2300 Cantalise Drive at 3:49 p.m.
  • began in Dublin around 11:30 a.m. near Fallon Road and I-580.

Monday, March 26

  • Two Livermore men, 21 and 19, were arrested at 4:33 p.m. on Dublin Boulevard and Village Parkway for suspected vehicle theft and possessing stolen property. 
  • Theft reported at 10:54 a.m. on 8400 Beverly Lane.
  • Residential burglary reported at 5:39 p.m. on the 6500 block of Maple Drive.

Sunday, March 25

  • Burglaries reported at 3 a.m. along 7200 San Ramon  Road, and at 10 a.m. on 7200 Regional Street.
  • A homeless man, 47, was arrested at 4:25 a.m. along 7100 Regional Street for alleged public intoxication and police obstruction.
  • An individual was reported under the influence of controlled substances at 8:58 p.m. along Alcosta Boulevard and Davona Drive.
