@Lost&Found. A quick call to Dublin PD can give you updated info on any AUTHORIZED door to door salespeople. ALL must display a permit issued by the Chief, who indicated at our public meeting are very rarely issued. We were told to always ask for the permit and if not immediately displayed, to call immediately and report to the police. I, however, have opted to just not open the door to strangers - day or night.

This isn't Pleasanton or San Ramon. Dublin attracts Section 8 residents which brings crime. Large apartments for section 8 a mile away from crime. Right next to condos and new houses.

Why do so many people count on the Police to come help you? They don't have enough officers to be at all the spots in town to cover for everything that can go wrong. The Dublin PD with the leadership Of the Chief and others is the best PD I have ever seen and I give them a 10 on a scale of 5! They are very helpful and will do anything that they can to help you solve a problem. But I come back to my opening statement, why do we need them to come to your call for such a simple things. Lock your doors! set the alarm! and buy a Gun and learn how to defend yourself and your family!!! Its your right to protect your family and your life, you can use deadly force to do this and be legal!! Yes in CA the state of the laws that say "can't we all get long" but that is not going to happen in this day and time. For your own good Buy A GUN and start learning how to help yourself! I can help you out if you wish to learn how to shoot and shoot safe. Guns Unlimited Dublin CA.
