Police: Intruders Tie Up, Rob Dublin Woman, Ransacking Home

Police officials are holding a meeting for the community on Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. to discuss the recent burglaries in Dublin. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the City Council Chambers.

A Dublin woman was robbed after she woke up and discovered three men in her home in the 5100 block of Cerreto Street just before 9 p.m. on Monday night, Dublin Police officials said. 

According to a statement release by police, the suspects demanded money and valuables after they tied the woman up.

"After rummaging through the home and stealing numerous items the suspects fled the scene."

The victim was not injured and was able to notify her neighbor who called the police.

Police say the suspects are described as three black male adults in their 20s. Video surveillance cameras in the area caught a newer model, dark-colored, Chevrolet or GMC pick-up truck fleeing the area just after the incident.

Police did not say how the suspects were able to enter the victim's house or if they had a weapon.

Dublin Police will be holding a community meeting on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 100 Civic Plaza, to discuss the recent burglaries, everyone is welcome to attend.
