National Prescription Drug "Take-Back Initiative" in Dublin

Drop off your expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

Submitted by Dublin Police Services:

Dublin Police Services will be participating along with the Drug Enforcement Administration in this year’s national prescription drug “Take-Back Initiative”.

The goal of the event is to collect potentially dangerous
expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction.

The free and anonymous collection event will take place on Saturday, April 28th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Civic Center parking lot at 100 Civic Plaza.

Dublin Police Officers will collect tablets, capsules, and all other solid dosage forms of prescription medications-no questions asked. Intravenous solutions, injectibles and syringes will not be accepted.

Prescription drug abuse is an epidemic in this country. Teenagers are abusing prescription medication in record numbers. One way young people are getting addicted to dangerous drugs is by raiding the medicine cabinets of their family and friends.

This free, anonymous service will help keep your home safe and could save lives.
