Holiday Toy Drive a Success

The toys collected through a holiday toy drive were distributed Thursday at a local fire station.

For weeks, the Alameda County Fire Department, the Alameda County Firefighters Association and the city of Dublin have been collecting toys to help local children this holiday season.

Those toys were distributed to local families throughout the day Thursday at Fire Station #16.

According to Alameda County Fire Department spokesperson, Aisha Knowles, close to 100 families picked up gifts for kids at Thursday's event.
