Update: Dublin Grass Fire Burned 38 Acres

Multiple fire agencies responded to a grass fire in East Dublin Saturday.

A grass fire was reported in the area of Tassajara Road and Fallon Road in Dublin this afternoon. According to Pulsepoint, the vegetation fire was reported just before 1 p.m. It was reportedly 90 percent contained as of 2 p.m.

According to Aisha Knowles of the Alameda County Fire Department, fire personnel from Cal Fire, Camp Parks, East Bay Regional Parks, Livermore Pleasanton and San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District responded to assist with the blaze, which burned 38 acres.

Knowles says the cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.

"Crews remain on scene extinguishing hot spots," Knowles said. "No injuries reported."

Smoke was visible over much of East Dublin.
