School Volunteer Accused of 2 Felonies Back in Court in November
Jaylene Leslie, accused of embezzling $38,000, will be in court for an additional pretrial hearing on Nov. 21 at 9 a.m.
Dublin resident Jaylene Leslie, accused of two felony charges, appeared at the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice on Sept. 25 for a pretrial hearing. According to court records, Leslie is scheduled to return court on Nov. 21. at 9 a.m. for another pretrial hearing.

On Aug. 9, Leslie pleaded "not guilty" to felony charges of embezzlement and grand theft after being accused of embezzling more than $38,000 from the Parent Faculty Club at Dougherty Elementary School.

Leslie, a former board member for Dublin Partnerships in Education and former President of the Dougherty Elementary Parent Faculty Club, was arrested by Dublin Police in July after an eight-month investigation.
Leslie is free on $20,000 bail, according to court records.
