Dublin Bank Robbed

The man walked into the bank without a visible weapon and left with an unknown amount of cash.

A man robbed the inside the on Dublin Boulevard on Tuesday, Lieutenant Herb Walters said.

 "At 3:12 p.m., we received details of a robbery at the US Bank located inside the Safeway store on Dublin Boulevard," commented Walters. "No weapon seen, just a note. An unknown amount of cash was taken. Dublin police units, including investigations, saturated the area but were unable to locate the suspect."

Walters said a white, 4-door, mid-90s, American-made car may be associated with this robbery. The man left in an unknown direction of travel.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30s, six feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. The man was wearing a black baseball hat, a black long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

According to Walters, this is believed to be the eighth robbery committed by the suspect in the past three weeks. He is believed to have robbed a bank in Pleasanton, San Leandro and Lafayette.
