UPDATE: CHP Chasing Driver in Mercedes That Refused to Stop
Dublin police originally tried to pull over the vehicle on Fallon Road.
Dublin Police deputies attempted to pull over a silver Mercedes on I-580 near Fallon Road at about 11:30 a.m. after noticing the Mercedes had a stolen snowmobile license plate, Lt. Steven Brown said.
The Mercedes didn't stop and the deputies pursued the vehicle until the pursuit was taken over by the California Highway Patrol near Airway Boulevard.
"CHP made all attempts to stop the vehicle but due to public safety concerns, the pursuit was terminated," said Brown.
