12 Killed, Many Wounded in Colorado

Chaos broke out at a Colorado movie theater last night during the anticipated film, "The Dark Knight Rises."

Batman fans were enticed throughout the movie, when an armed man appeared and began shooting at the rows of seated people.

The gunman, James Holmes, 24, of Aurora, Colorado, is said to not have been connected to terrorism, according to FBI spokesman Jason Pack.

Gunshots spread throughout Centruy Aurora 16, as people were mistaking the gun smoke and loud noise as special effects from the movie.

The victims, according to CNN, ranged in age from 3 months to 45 years old.

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama were "shocked and saddened" by the news and will give any support needed during this tragic time.

The city of Aurora is just 13 miles form Littleton, Colorado where the 1999 Columbine high school massacre took place.
