Spencer Freeman Smith!! Is he Scott free?

It has been 2 years since Attorney Spencer Freeman Smith killed Bo Hu - hit and run - better yet, hit and run and hide.  I want to know if he is free.  If so, who got paid off.  If so, what kind of corrupt court system do we have.  If so, who was the judge who made this decision.  If so, why wasn't this made public.  If so - has the family of Bo Hu received a cash settlement?  What is going on with Spencer Freeman Smith?  Cody Hall is in prison...Spencer Smith is _______ (fill in the blank).
