Owner Vara Barry and her family offer authentic Thai cuisine right here in Dublin Ca. Talk about eclectic! The menu has everything from milder fare like chicken or beef Satay skewers, Thai salads, and of course the classic “Pad Thai” which consists of pan fried noodles with chicken, shrimp, eggs, ground peanuts, bean sprouts and green onions. Appetizers run the gamut of Thai staples including Pot Stickers, Lettuce Wraps, vegetable Tempura, and one item I hadn’t ever heard of; A Cream Puff filled with cream cheese plum sauce and sesame sauce. It is absolutely delicious!
For all of you folks with taste buds that like a bit more spice, ‘Bangkok 101’ has plenty of choices for you. The menu has quite a few items that have an image of a very red Jalapeno pepper next to its description. This denotes “Hot & Spicy”, and they aren’t lying. Wow!

For any vegetarians interested in the broadening of the palate, ‘Bangkok 101’ has plenty of choices sans meat, chicken, pork etc. Try the “Pun Krib”. They stuff a crispy pasta shell with potatoes and onions and a secret blend of Thai spices. Or have “Tofu Taud”. Deep fried Tofu in a delicious peanut sauce.
