Special Needs Benefits Seminar

Parents of children or soon-to-be adults with special needs and developmental delays are invited to attend a special benefits seminar on Saturday, February 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Las Positas College, located at 3000 Campus Hill Drive in Livermore. Sunflower Hill, a new non-profit in the East Bay seeking to create an intentional, sustainable residential community for individuals with special needs, is holding an informative upcoming seminar on special needs benefits and how to navigate SSI, SSDI, Medi-Cal, Medicare and IHSS. There will also be a discussion on trusts, trustee responsibilities and limited conservatorship. The program will feature Kevin Urbatsch, who serves as the National Director of the Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP).
