Soul on the Green

Save the Date for Some Family Fun at Soul on the Green
Children are the heart and Soul on the Green, the 3rd annual family-friendly food and concert benefit for the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC), beginning at 5 pm, August 23rd, at the Diablo Country Club 1st Hole Golf Course.
Kids are a big focus of this year's event this year with a Children's Zone, designed with the smallest Soul on the Green guests in mind.  The Children's Zone is carnival themed and features games, prizes and fun entertainment for kids of all ages and a pizza oven.
Also on the menu will the savories and sweets from food trucks including Mamas and Tapas and Mustache Mikes Italian Ice.  Adult guests are invited to sample an array of reds and whites from California wineries including Toasted Toad.  As in previous years, musical entertainment is provided by the pop/soul band, Pride & Joy.  Soul on the Green is the perfect way to spend a summer night under the stars with the whole family, enjoying great food, wine, activities and music.  Our silent auction and raffle prizes are more exciting than ever.
The expanded silent auction and raffle drawings offer guests more ways to support CAPC, which brings attention to the purpose of the event.  We are here to raise awareness in the community about the issue of child abuse and to raise funds that directly support CAPC's free programs and services.  Soul on the Green is both an important fundraiser and a fun family event--we have something for everyone.
Cost:  $45 for adults; free admission for children.  To purchase tickets, visit CAPC-COCO.org.  Location:  1700 Club House Road, Diablo, CA.  For more information call 925-798-0546 or visit CAPC-COCO.org
