Small Business Workshop: "How to Drive Holiday Sales"

Local business owners are invited to attend a small business workshop, "How to Drive Holiday Sales: Discover Dublin Shop Local Holiday Campaign," on Wednesday, September 4, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, in the Community Room at the Dublin Library.  With the holidays coming up, what are ways you can use social media to increase local traffic to your business?  What tried and true tactics can a small business owner, an artisan, an entertainment business, and a retailer all deploy to get folks to shop local?  This workshop will look at basic social media tools and offer easy-to-execute tips and techniques which you can put to work right in class, and use right away.  Come learn about how Facebook, Twitter, and other social media tools can help you increase revenue during the 2013 holiday season.  The event is co-sponsored by the City of Dublin, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and the Alameda County Small Business Development Center.  There is no fee to Dublin Chamber of Commerce members.  The non-member fee is $25.00.  To register, call 828-6200, or go to www.acsbdc.org/node/19124.  The deadline to register is end of business day on Thursday, August 29.
