Scratch Hackathon

December 9 - 14, 2013 is Computer Science Education Week where kids are encouraged to explore computer science through opportunities to learn about programming.  As part of our participation in CS Week, TriValley CoderDojo is hosting a FREE three hour Scratch Hackathon event. 

Kids ages 8-17 can come and learn about the graphical Scratch programming language developed by MIT and create their own game or computer animations!  This event is open to all experience levels.  Attendees can follow pre-made tutorials or explore their own ideas for what they want to create.
