Hugely Important Rally in SF on Feb. 17th
1 to 3 PM Market Plaza, Embarcadero BART
Climate change is happening faster than expected and time is running out to limit the number of likely catastrophic
impacts. To go forward with the Keystone XL tar sands is to light the fuse of a ticking time bomb. Tar sands crude kicks out 2-3 times as much carbon as conventional crude. It is unconscionable to increase carbon pollution when there is a crying need to put on the brakes.
On Feb. 17th there will be rallies across the nation with 20,000 protestors expected in DC and 7,000 in Denver. We have over 1500 signups for SF, but the greater the number the greater the impact. The SF rally will surround the U.S. State Department Office. We must make our voices heard. RSVP and learn more at www.350bayarea.org
