Wings Of Freedom Tour at Livermore Airport 5/27-5/29
What a fitting time for the Wings of Freedom Tour to arrive at the Livermore Airport! Yes, Memorial Day is a perfect time to see legendary aircraft from World War 2.
I was lucky enough to be there yesterday and see them landing. There is something very majestic about these planes that captures the imagination and brings to reality the struggles of a by-gone era in history that many forget or never even knew about.
Believe it or not you can even go up in one! Call 800-568-8924 for flight reservations of tours. You can also go to www.collingsfoundation.org for more information.
