Searching for Soup

If you're looking for a tasty bowl of soup, there are plenty of options in town.

Did you know that January is National Soup Month? It sure seems appropriate with the cold weather we have been experiencing in Dublin. We are lucky to have so many choices for soups around town. 

You may want to try , or for a soup and sandwich or soup and salad combination. We also have Pho Saigon 2 and for ethnic choices. And don't forget about where you might score a huge muffin along with a bowl of soup. 

even has a warm soup station. You can get hot soup in a "to go" container. It also has oyster crackers free with your purchase or you can splurge and buy a bread bowl.

Another good option if you have a little more time on your hands is to go to the . They have packaged Bear Creek dry soup mixes for $2.59 each or 2 for $5. Whether it's chicken noodle, minestrone, tortilla, cheddar broccoli or creamy potato, you can whip up your own soup in about 15 minutes just by adding some water and maybe some fresh ingredients. You also can pick up cheap bread bowls in which to serve your warm entree. 

Whether you are going out or staying in, there is nothing more comforting on these cold Dublin days than a nice bowl of hot soup.
