Heads Up On Interstate 680 The Next Two Nights

Caltrans crews are restriping lanes and closing ramps between Walnut Creek and Dublin

Drivers using Interstate 680 through the San Ramon Valley and Tri-Valley areas should take extra caution the next two nights.

Caltrans crews are repaving and restriping in the northbound lanes. The work will cause some ramp closures as well as lane closures.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, crews will realign the lane stripes between Alcosta Boulevard in Dublin and Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon. Various lanes will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The Alcosta Boulevard on-ramp and the Bollinger Canyon Road off-ramp will also be closed.

On Thursday night, restriping will occur between Crow Canyon Road in San Ramon and Sycamore Valley Road in Danville. Ramps in that area will also be closed along with some lanes.

Repaving work will also be done between Diablo Road in Danville and Rudgear Road in Walnut Creek.
