Here's your weekly roundup of kid-friendly events in the Tri-Valley for Wednesday through Sunday.

Looking for something fun to do with the kids this week?

Our Grab & Go calendar focuses on five kid-friendly events in and near the Tri-Valley. And we've added an out-of-town outing for an easy weekend getaway.

  • Where/When:
    Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Livermore Public Library Civic Center.
    Why Go:
    Join award-winning singer and songwriter MaryLee Sunseri (1-2-3 Sing With Me) for a fun family sing-along where you and your kids can sing, dance, jump, wiggle and clap to upbeat music. Click here for a song preview.

  • Where/When:
    Saturday at 11 a.m. at Alviso Adobe Community Park in Pleasanton
    Why Go:
    Kids can explore the natural world while creating crafts with shells, leaves, seeds, feathers and other natural finds. (Advance registration is required for this activity.)
    Price:

  • Where/When:
    Saturday at 10 a.m. at Forest Home Farms in San Ramon
    Why Go:
    Celebrate Earth Day while helping spruce Forest Home Farms for spring. Enjoy fresh air and digging in the dirt with projects in the vegetable garden, wildlife garden and around the farm. Refreshments will be provided. All ages are welcome.

  • Where/When:
    Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Dublin Library
    Why Go:
    Join children's book illustrator M. Sarah Klise for a fun drawing class and find out how illustrations in children's books are created. The event is part of the Dublin Library's "Family Fun Night" series and is suitable for the whole family.

  • Where/When: Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Blackhawk Plaza in Danville
    Why Go: The Easter Bunny makes his first appearance Saturday at the Blackhawk Plaza, where kids can visit with the Easter Bunny and get their photos taken. Click the link for more times and dates.

Pinnepeds at Point Bonita: Bring your family and your binoculars to the Headlands in Sausalito on Sunday for pinniped pupping season. The family-friendly four-mile guided hike takes you on a search for harbor seals at Point Bonita. After the hike, you'll visit the Marine Mammal Center where pinniped patients are nursed back to health and released into the Ocean. The event costs $10 per person and requires pre-registration.
