I would like to add to my previous comment that Blossom Preschool is one of the finest schools that I have seen in Dublin. The director has over 30 years of teaching experience. She is very caring and methodical. Her curriculum encourages wholesome development. She has 2 dedicated play areas for the kids. The place is very neat. My child loves his school. I would highly recmmend this school to one and all.

Emerald Glen Preschool. Based on popular opinions, we sent our son to this preschool and we have not been disappointed. He always has positive things to say about the class and teacher. It is comforting to know that he is not only getting a great education, but is happy at school as well. Thanks to the teachers for all the hard work.

City of Dublin-Emerald glen preschool!! My kids love their school and most of all the wonderful teachers.

This year marked sending my first child off to preschool! As an educator myself I know how important the first experience with school is. My son has had a wonderful experience at St. Philip's. The staff is kind and caring and the small class sizes and teacher to student ratio is great. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of developmentally appropriate curriculum.

John Knox Coop Preschool is the best! Has the most caring and loving teachers. It's a Co-op so it's filled with parents who care too! Classroom is perfect and clean. Both of my kids have loved learning there. My oldest was more than prepared for kindergarten after attending JKCP!

Blossom preschool is undoubtedly #1. They have a very safe and clean environment with a very good daily curriculum. The director has over 30 years of experience and has a very impressive teaching background. She goes all out to ensure the best all round development for each kid. The preschool has a great play area and a very nurturing environment. I would recommend Blossom preschool to everyone who want the best for their kids. Kavita Jotwani

We absolutely LOVE the City of Dublin's preschools at Emerald Glen and Shannon campuses. My son has attended both and the quality of teachers, school environment, and curriculum are excellent. I cannot endorse them enough!

We are really happy we found Blossom Preschool. Our two children have attended for about 2 months now and we already notice a difference for the better in our children. This school uses a little different approach where the children (ages 2 to 4) all attend to the same curriculum. At first, it took some getting used to since our kids were previously at a larger school that is divided by age groups. We notice such a better difference, where our 2 year old is advancing so rapidly because he is learning from and modeling the older kids and our oldest child is grasping the material so well because she loves to come home and "teach" her younger brother everything they have learned. As everyone knows, when you teach it forces you to understand the material in order to be able to teach it, so this benefits our older child. We feel like this is a win-win learning environment for both of our children as it benefits both of them in so many ways. We are very pleased with this preschool and would recommend it to anyone. It is very clean, a loving and caring environment, and the director takes child safety as a high priority.

St Philip preschool, hands down. Our son attended both the 3s and 4s programs with amazing results. Our daughter is There now and we are excited for her 2nd year next year. The teachers are professional yet approachable and care more about the well-being of each child than anything else. The program is well-balanced and nurturing. As an educator, I highly recommend St Philip's preschool program. You won't find better teachers anywhere else.

We truly love Emerald Glen. The teachers are high quality teachers that love what they do and it shows. My daughter comes home excited to tell me what she's done or learned in class. She always looks forward to going back. I can say that the teachers are nurturing, loving and care for each child. I would highly recommend Emerald Glen to anyone!

Veronica March 06, 2012 at 06:54 PM
I am more than proud to vote for Emerald Glen because of the tremendous impact they have had on my child. The teachers are genuine, caring and nurturing. They not only teach ABC's and 1,2,3's but also independence, kindness, cooperation and fun! They encourage each child's strengths and work with them in a creative and warm environment. It's so comforting to know our child is well cared for when she comes home with excited about her accomplishments and what she's learned. We are truly lucky to be a part of this school and look forward to our second child attending.

We love Blossom Preschool! With the insights gained from our first child's preschool experiences, I am so glad to find Blossom which offers everything we look for -- bright, fun & safe environment; toys and books that are interesting, stimulating and well-thoughtout; an intelligent learning methodology through encouraging of playing, singing and artistic expressions and most of all, loving and nourturing teachers. I could not believe all the amazing crafts and creations that my son brings home everyday! Ruby is one of the best preschool teacher I've met, if not THE best. I would recommend Blossom to everyone! I rate my child's preschool at the maximum it can get! It's called "Blossom Pre-school" The teachers in the school are very caring and they really take the time to know each child. The director of school, Ruby has master’s degree in Human Development and impressive teaching back ground. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in early child education. One of the things that I like most is the school’s facilities. The school has several separate classrooms for the different tasks. Each classroom is carefully organized and designed. I also checked out other schools in the Dublin and Pleasanton, none of them comes to close! The whole environment of Blossom pre-school is safe, warm and creative within which children feels comfortable, cherished and encouraged. I highly recommend this preschool to all.

You won't find a better teacher than Ms. Ruby at Blossom Preschool. My son was fortunate enough to have Ms. Ruby as his preschool teacher. She takes the time to understand each child and gives them exactly what they need to grow and learn. My son is one of the youngest in his 1st grade class and is an advanced reader with strong learning skills. I credit Ms. Ruby for giving him the foundation he needed to be a confident student. Personally I think Ruby is one of the kindest and most sincere people I have met. I think she is the best!!

Blossom Preschool. The owner is a kind, hard working and nurturing teacher. My children were blessed to have her as their teacher. I didn't think twice about leaving my children with her

My daughter has just atteding Blossom Preschool for only three weeks. I expected she would cry for 2-3 weeks because she has never attend any daycare before, and she is a very shy and gentle girl. But my daughter only cried for THREE DAYS when I droped her there, then after she weavs to say bye every day. I don't want to say how nice Ms. Ruby is, and what kind person she is, but my aughter is realy happy over there. I have a nanny to take care my girl on afternoons, guess what my daughter said to me: "I don't want my nanny, when Mommy and Daddy go to work, I just go to Ms. Ruby". Ms. Ruby loves all the kids over there just like she says "I am a Mommy here". Her love is from her heart. Remember the first time I vist there, there was a two-years old boy came to Ms. Ruby and give a big hug while I was taking to her. What a lovely hug! Kids tell the tureth.

I would recommend Blossom preschool. My son used to go for english reading over there. He learnt his basic reading skills from her. I give full credit to Ms. Ruby for giving him a foundation. Right now in his class he is doing so good and he became so confident. More than that Ms. Ruby is so caring, loving and nurturing teacher. My son just love her. I would highly recommend this preschool. A+++

Shannon preschool is the best preschool. I have one daughter who is 5. She is going to private preshool in another city,Not dublin, in the morning and going to Shannon preschool in the afternoon. Private preschool is good: very academic, having good curriculum. But, it is not special and almost simmilar with different private preschool which my daughter went to before moving last year. I thought private preschool is the best, but Shannon preschool makes my mind change. Jr.K course for age 4 is amazing and give freshness to my thoughts. I got to know new instructional method that I never experienced. They showed me that teaching mainly with reading and writing is not good. They teach and help kids to be able to do something by themselves. They give a motivation for doing something.for Ex, If kids do homework everyday, they can earn the money. Kids have fun with doing homework(drawing something that starts letter of weeks), and they feel happiness whenever their piggy bank is going to full. And moreover, they have a time to present their homework, so they can improve their self-confidence. Leadership & bookbag program is also very good one. Everyday, one of kids become leader. kid who become leader leads the class and help teacher and classmate. and then after calss, he/she goes back with bookbag including 3 books, big doll, and notepad. This one also gives kids lots of self-confidence. If your kid is turning 4, I would highly recommend Shannon Preschool.
