A Love Story Worth the Wait

This tale shows that timing is everything.

Timing is everything when it comes to a couple meeting. It would seem as though Aphrodite herself kept Kelly and Jim Stone apart until the perfect moment they would meet and fall deeply in love.

Jim and Kelly were both born in Los Angeles. Their families moved to Pleasanton and they attended high school there, one at Amador and the other at Foothill High. They both married and moved to Dublin.

For 20 years they lived within five minutes of one another. They shopped at the same Safeway grocery store, bought gas at the same Arco and yet their paths never crossed. It wasn't until Kelly was widowed with four children and Jim, the father of one, got divorced that things would fall into place.

Six years ago, both had enlisted the help of an Internet dating site to find a mate. Jim had been with the service for a year while Kelly had given it a try for four months. After she had kissed a few frogs using the service, she cancelled her subscription. But that very same day, Jim's invitation to meet appeared. They met for coffee at Starbucks and never looked back, eloping a year later.

With a 13-year-old, two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old living at home, Jim and Kelly are as happy as can be. They started Jelllystone Photography four years ago. It seems only fitting because their lives have been picture perfect since the day they met.
