Talk about all the things that you've done, even if your activities are not the usual school-sponsored ones – like the Debate Club, National Honor Society or your high school band. Part-time jobs, businesses you started, or even hobbies are great opportunities to show your passion to college admission officials. Students should take every available opportunity on their college application to show who they are and what they are passionate about. Go ahead talk about the rock band you started, or the prized PEZ collection you own, because it can show your individuality, personality, and separate you from the crowd.
