It’s official! Unfortunately,
strike will continue into Monday and
affect the morning commute. You
might consider riding
your bicycle across the bay like
this guy or you might consider telecommuting.
But, just because you don’t have to show up in the office doesn’t mean you want to work from home. We asked our Facebook followers to tell us the best places to work when all you really need is a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
Here’s what we learned.
You could go to Starbucks. There are seven Starbucks in Livermore. You can also try Peet’s Coffee and Tea on South Livermore Avenue. Daniel Wilson is partial to Panama Red Coffee Company and don’t forget the Livermore Library.
In Pleasanton, reader Russ Neal suggests Mission Pipe Shop which is the perfect place if you like puffing a stogie while you work. Cinde Hagelberg saus Panera, Starbucks, Jack in the Box and McDonald’s all have Wi-Fi.
David Brown in Danville likes to use the Wi-Fi at his house while he’s sitting next to the pool. Unfortunately for the rest of us Brown didn’t send out an invite.
Where do you go when you need Wi-Fi but don’t want to work at home and you don’t want to deal with the commute? Tell us in comments.
