Freebirds World Burrito officially opened yesterday and judging steady stream of customers flowing in during the lunch rush today, the word is starting to spread about the new eatery.
The restaurant is located at 7281 Amador Plaza Road in Dublin next to the Habit Burger. On Tuesday, Freebirds opened as part of a fundraiser to benefit the East Bay SPCA and the Open Heart Kitchen.
The burrito franchise offers tacos, nachos, salads and burritos while the Habit is all about grilled burgers, sandwiches, shakes and salads. Construction began last summer for both the Habit Burger and Freebirds. The Habit celebrated its opening on Jan. 22.
