Sprouts & Shutters: Dick's Sporting Goods Grand Opening

Dick's Sporting Goods will be celebrating its grand opening in the Fallon Gateway Plaza in Dublin this weekend. The three-day event will start on Friday and will offer contests for those who attend early.

According to a statement released by Dick's Sporting Goods, there will be several sports celebrity guests visiting the new store over the weekend.

DICK’S Sporting Goods will hold a three-day celebration to mark the Grand Opening of its new Dublin location. To commemorate the occasion, the company will host a Friday-to-Sunday extravaganza featuring celebrity appearances, product giveaways, product demonstrations by industry experts and experiential activities for attendees of all ages to enjoy. 

Friday, May 31 – Sunday, June 2       

• Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers running back– special appearance on Saturday, June 1, from 2 – 4 p.m.*                    
  
• Kyle Harrison, professional Lacrosse player – special appearance on Saturday, June 1, from 12 – 2 p.m.                                     
  
• Skeet Reese, professional bass angler – special appearance on Saturday, June 1, from 4 – 8 p.m. 

• First 100 adults in line on Friday and Saturday will receive a free Mystery Gift Card ranging in value from $5 to $500, with one person winning the $500 card each day.
  
• First 100 people in line on Saturday receive a free The North Face FLASHDRY T-shirt. 
  
• First 100 adults in line on Sunday will receive a free Scratch & Win card, where every card is a winner and one lucky recipient will receive the 2013 DICK’S MVP Discount Card.
