Safeway Recalls Angel Food Cake Varieties Due to Allergens

Recall due to undeclared soy and milk allergens, according to the FDA.

Safeway, with two locations in Dublin and its headquarters nearby in Pleasanton, is voluntarily recalling six Angel Food Cake products because they contain the undeclared allergens soy and milk.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy or milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products, the FDA warned in a news release.
