New Opening Date for Guy Fieri's Restaurant in Dublin

Johnny Garlic's will be where Fuzio restaurant was in Hacienda Crossings.

If you've passed the former Fuzio restaurant in Hacienda Crossings lately, you may have noticed a bit of construction taking place. But if you were hoping you'd check out the restaurant this month, you'll have to keep waiting.

A representative for Fieri had said Johnny Garlic's was expected to open with a tentative date in early June. Then the date was set for mid- to late July. Now, we've been told the restaurant is aiming for a mid-August opening. No reason was given for the change, although all dates have been tentative.

It was  had signed a lease to open Johnny Garlic's in the Fuzio spot.

Fieri operates three Johnny Garlic's restaurants — in Windsor, Roseville and Santa Rosa, his hometown. The menu includes starters such as American Kobe sliders, sashimi won tacos and key lime calamari. Entrees include burgers, wood stone fired pizza, pasta grilled chicken, seafood and steaks.

Dublin Patch talked to Fieri in May about the restaurant. Click  to read the interview.

This is great news for Dublin residents like me! I love trying out new dishes and new restaurants and its really great that Dublin has started to attract well known restaurants like this. I love my city and I also write a lot about this city. If anyone is interested to read them, feel free to drop by at http://www.680homes.com/dublin-real-estate/

The johnny Garlic's in Hacienda Crossings is H O R R I B L E!! Not only is the service very poor, but the food was VERY disappointing!! A friend and I went in with her daughter and we had to wait 35 minutes before they even brought us the drinks we ordered. I asked why it took so long and she said because they had a catering job for the Raiders the day before. I guess that was her pre-excuse as to why they were out of just about everything we attempted to order. The first 6 items we wanted were "not available" and guess why? Because they had a Raider's catering job the day before. You would think that a fairly new restaurant would make darn sure they ordered more than they would think they would use for the first couple of months just to make sure they didn't run out of anything. We went, we tried it, we will NOT be returning. The bill was expensive to say the least and the quality of food stunk! This place won't last very long after people go in and see how lousy the food and service is. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
