Jewelry Store Donates $6,100 to Dublin Schools, Raising More Money in August

Barons: A Legacy of Elegance will donate a portion of their sales from August 3rd through August 17, to DPIE, as well as another two percent to Livermore Valley Education Foundation.

Information from Dublin Partners in Education--

Barons: A Legacy of Elegance proved their commitment to the Dublin community in May by donating 10% of their sales from their grand-opening event to Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE), which totaled more than $6,100.

Now, in a continued show of regional community pride, Barons has again devised a way to support area schools.  From Saturday, August 3rd – Saturday, August 17th, Barons will donate 2% of their sales to DPIE, as well as another 2% to Livermore Valley Education Foundation – for a total of 4% of their sales during that time period.

Barons: A Legacy of Elegance is no stranger to Dublin. Before moving for a time to Stoneridge Mall, Barons served the Dublin community from 1980 – 1995.  After re-evaluating their marketing strategy, owner Ronnie Heller realized that it was time to move back to Dublin.  Their spacious new store is located in Hacienda Crossings.

"Barons believes in education and we are giving 2% of sales from August 3rd through August 17th to DPIE,” says Ronnie Heller.  “We know Dublin supports us, and we are proud to support DPIE in Dublin."

DPIE, Dublin’s only non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial and volunteer support to every school in the Dublin Unified School District, is thrilled with its newly formed partnership with Barons Jewelers.

“This is a perfect example of how local businesses can directly impact the quality of education in Dublin schools,” says DPIE Board President Jeff Lemmo.  “We are incredibility fortunate that Barons is so community-minded.  The donations received by them will go a long way in funding DPIE’s existing and future programming, which impacts every student in the school district.  I encourage everyone to visit Barons Jewelers during their two week fundraising event.  Everyone deserves something sparkly, and it’s the perfect time to start your holiday shopping.  Barons has something for every budget, and our local schools will benefit!”

Barons Legacy Showroom is open Monday – Saturday, 10am – 6pm, and is closed Sunday for family day.  Visit Barons’ website at  www.baronsjewelers.com for more information.
