Car That Won Indianapolis 500 on Display at Barons in Dublin

The car driven by famous race car driver Tony Kanaan was on display for the public today.

Did you see it? The shiny, black race car that won the 2013 Indianapolis 500 was on display to the public at new Barons Legacy Showroom in Dublin today.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. shoppers at the Hacienda Crossings shopping center gathered to get an up-close look at a piece of Indianapolis 500 history. The Indy car was on display as part of a promotion for the limited edition Luminox Tony Kanaan watch sold at Barons. 


On Tuesday, racing legend Tony Kanaan will be making a brief appearance at Barons in Dublin between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Click here for more details about how to see Kanaan.

The Indy car is owned by Alamo resident Kevin Kalkhoven and Jimmy Vasser of Napa, who are the owners of KV Racing Technology.
