(Updated) Amber Alert Canceled: Abducted Mom, Daughter Found in Oakland

Police say 17-year-old Angelica Lopez and her two-month-old daughter Enalina Hernandez were allegedly abducted by gunpoint on Wednesday, Aug. 8. They were found in Oakland safe, and in good health according to police.

An Amber Alert for a young mother and her two-month old-daughter out of Alameda County was canceled this afternoon after the two were found in Oakland "in good health" according to authorities.

Angelica Lopez, 17, and her two-month-old daughter Enalina Hernandez were abducted on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at gunpoint by the baby's father, Marcos Hernandez.

NBC Bay Area reports that police responded to a report of an assault and kidnapping Wednesday night at the 2700 block of Alvingroom Court. After arriving at the scene, officers learned that Lopez and her daughter had allegedly been kidnapped at gunpoint by Hernandez.

At about 2:35 p.m., today, the Oakland Police Department's Patrol Division and investigators from Youth and Family Services located Lopez and her daughter in Oakland while continuing to follow-up investigative leads.

Officers are still looking for Hernandez and the case is under investigation.
