Why Go: At this weekend's Harvest Festival you can browse the largest indoor arts and craft show on the west coast while your kids can enjoy a "kids zone" with kids' crafts.
Price: Adults $9, children 13 - 17 $4, seniors $7, children 12 & under free

2. Guitar Fest Live
Where/When: Friday and Saturday at the , , Blacksmith Square and other downtown venues on Saturday and Sunday (Click event link for full schedules and locations)
Why Go: Guitar fans of all ages won't want to miss this weekend's Guitar Fest LIVE event. Hear tips from world-class guitarists, enjoy guitar concerts at the Bankhead Theater, attend a free guitar clinic, view the latest guitar gear and more.

Why Go: Grab some cheap reads for both you and the kids during the Dublin Library's quarterly used book sale. In addition to great deals on books, you'll also find audio-visual materials, teacher materials and a tote bag sale.
Price: Free admission.

Where/When: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the in Livermore
Why Go: At this weekend's Children's Fair you'll find family activities such as police department K-9 demonstrations, pony rides, crafts, car seat checks on Saturday and a bicycle rodeo on Sunday. You'll also find local performers and food booths.
Price: Admission is free.

Where/When: Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. along Hartz Avenue in downtown Danville
Why Go: See classic cars on display in Downtown Danville plus enjoy food, wine tasting and even a kids' remote race car corral. This event raises money for Parkinsons research and patient care.
Price: Free but donations are appreciated
