Patrol Car Struck in Hit-And-Run on I-580, CHP Officer Taken to Hospital 
A car crashed into a CHP patrol car stopped for a collision on I-580 around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday night. The driver did not stop and the officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The officer had been blocking another collision, which had occurred just before 1 a.m. on westbound I-580.

Cell Phones Stolen From Students by Women Asking For 'Help'
Superintendent Stephen Hanke issued a warning this week to parents and students about a recent rash of thefts after strangers approached students asking for help. Read the full story here.
