  • Canceled: Parks and Community Services Commission Regular Meeting. 
Tuesday, Jan. 21
  • One-on-One Job Counseling. 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Job Specialist from TriValley One Stop Career Center will be at the Library working individually with people to help them explore career/job choices. Please set appointment at (925) 803-7275 or visit libraryreference desk. 
Wednesday, Jan. 22
  • Youth Advisory Committee Meeting. 7 p.m. Shannon Community Center. YAC is positive and creative youth-driven forum that gives Dublin teens a way to provide input on programs and activities offered by the City.
  • The Impact of Health Care Reform on Your Business Seminar. 8:30 a.m. to  10:30 a.m. at Dublin Public Library Community Room. Overview of Affordable Healthcare Act, and how it impacts small businesses. You will learn about: 1. Key provisions of the Act, 2. Individual Mandates, 3. Employer Shared Responsibility, 4. Reporting requirements, 5. Penalties, Costs, Taxes and Fees, and 6. State Exchanges.
  • International Guitar Night. Bankhead Theater, Livermore. 7:30 p.m. World’s foremost acoustic guitarists in intimate annual event.

  • Identity Theft: When Bad Things Happen to Your Good Name. 10 a.m. at Dublin Civic Center. Learn ways to avoid becoming a victim of identity theft and what to do if your identity has been stolen. You will also have the opportunity to bring your personal documents and junk mail for free shredding and start the new year safe. 
  • Meet the Author, Annie Barrows! Dublin Library 1 p.m. Annie is  author of Ivy & Bean children's books. Where did she get the idea for Ivy & Bean? Are stories based on her life or people she knows? Come and find out! 
  • The Drowsy Chaperone. Bankhead Theater, Livermore. 8 p.m. AN HOMAGE TO AMERICAN MUSICALS OF THE JAZZ AGE.
Sunday, Jan. 26 
  • The Drowsy Chaperone. Bankhead Theater, Livermore. 2 p.m. AN HOMAGE TO AMERICAN MUSICALS OF THE JAZZ AGE.
  • St. Raymond School Open House. K-8 school, 11557 Shannon Ave., Dublin. 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tour the school, meet the teachers, check out the science fair, enjoy some food from local food trucks.
