Water is a topic of interest to everyone in the Tri-Valley. Tune into TV30 for an opportunity to hear directly from some of the Zone 7 Board of Directors candidates running for election on Tuesday, June 3rd. The hour long forum produced by TVCTV is currently airing on TV30 and streaming live on the Tri-Valley TV website at www.tv30.org. (See attached schedule.)

Seven candidates are running for four open seats. All candidates were invited to participate. Candidates who accepted an invitation to appear on the forum, hosted by Tom Morrison, include (in alphabetical order): John Greci, Jr.; Jim McGrail; Matt Morrison; and Bill Stevens.

Zone 7 supplies treated drinking water to retailers serving more than 200,00 people in Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin, and through special agreement with the Dublin San Ramon Services District, the Dougherty Valley area.

Board of Director members are elected by the community to provide strategic guidance and planning for Zone 7's policies, programs and finances. Board members serve four-year terms and represent the public throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley.

Why is it we see a bunch of housing going up as if we are building an Ant hill, and yet, we who live here and have been paying taxes for years, are subjected to water shortages. it's because our planning commision and developers keep looking for more and more money. How can we stop this nonsense before it's to late???
