Photo(s) of the Week: Turkeys Gone Wild

These good-looking birds have been spending their time out on the town. Patch loves photos! Upload your photos to Dublin Patch and you could be featured.

Thanksgiving may be the day when roughly 46 million turkeys are consumed in the United States but that does not seem to scare away these local wild turkeys.

Residents shared photos of the big birds strutting their stuff all around Dublin.

According to Wikipedia, the "gobbling" sound is most often made by the males. It is more common for the hens to cluck. Wild turkeys can be found in 49 states, according to the Connecticut DEEC.
