Earthly Delights Fitness Hosting Fundraiser for Dublin Boy Fighting Brain Tumor

A 'thrift shop' fashion show will be held on April 21, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Earthly Delights Fitness in Pleasanton is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Sirous Sadaghiani, the Dublin boy who has been battling a rare malignant brain tumor called Gliomatosis Cerebri since last fall. Sadaghiani was recently able to return home to Dublin after months in the hospital.

Elena Crandell, one of the Zumba instructors at Earthly Delights Fitness wrote, via email:

"This event is being hosted by Earthly Delights Fitness and Mary Kay in hopes to bring communities together and to remember that life is fragile and being unified through each other’ s hardships is the most rewarding experience in life.  The event is a win win for all, since the models purchase their outfits at thrift shops so that the money spent will go right back into the community through organizations like Goodwill. The Zumba girls of EDF will be performing the Thriftshop Song, which should bring about many smiles and laughter and the FITkidsMOVE students will be performing as well."

The donation to the fashion show is $13 and all of the proceeds will go to the Sadaghiani family.

There have been several past fundraisers for the Sadaghiani family including a pizza night, a bake sale, Rockin' Jump time and blue bracelets sold by students.
