Dublin Welcomes Home Navy Culinary Specialist
United States Navy Culinary Specialist Third Class Eric Nuval returned home to Tri-Valley

Eric Nuval attended Vallejo High School and graduated in 2007. He joined the Navy on April 6, 2008 and as a Culinary Specialist Third Class Eric Nuval served in Japan on the USS Blue Ridge, Home of the 7th Fleet. He had the responsibility for 900 plus crew member's morale through his occupation as a cook.
Eric has traveled to Russia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Jakarta, Palau and New Caledonia. During his enlistment he earned 2 Navy Achievement Medals.
His other interests include a love for drawing, playing basketball, video games, and cooking. Since his completion of service with the Navy, Eric has continued his passion for the culinary arts. He now attends Le Cordon Bleu in San
Francisco and aspires to become a professional chef.
